A new opportunity to visit the Roman tunnels along the consular road via Flaminia is offered in the morning. The guided walk starts at 9.30 from the dyke Enel near the village of Furlo to discover the archaeological treasures situated in the territory of the Reserve. In fact the consular road Via Flaminia, built by the Romans in the III century b. C. to connect Rome to Rimini, passed through the Gola del Furlo. It will be possible to admire long stretches of containing walls and mainly the two tunnels bored by the Romans. Then the excursion will take the visitors to the Grotta del Grano, the place where a castle was built by the Goths. Lenght of the excursion: about 2 hours. Distance: about 4 km.

 

In the afternoon a reading workshop of timeless fables and a creative workshop are dedicated to adults and children. Un Furlo di fiabe.. per tutte le età is the title of the event. Meeting point at 16.00 at the tourist office (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna– via Flaminia n.36

At 21.15 in the park of the Golena del Furlo the overwhelming mexican jazz band The Troker in concert completes the program. Free entrance.
