Stories, fables and tales will be read and played by odd characters during a walk in the natural reserve. Thanks to the suggestions given by the Gola del Furlo, the walk is for all those who like to enter the magic world of fantasy. The appointment is at 16.30 at the tourist office of the Natural Reserve of the Gola del Furlo (Punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36.

Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August 2015: Night walks in the Natural Reserve
Saturday 8 August: Moonlight guided walk in Monte Pietralata. Enjoy the sunset in the Natural Reserve from the top of Monte Pietralata, with its wonderful view from the Apennines to the Adriatic sea. The moonlight walk will be an incomparable opportunity to live the night with its voices, rumors and maybe see some falling stars. Children over 6 years old will be given a funny kit to play together during the excursion. Meeting point at 17.30 at the tourist office of the Natural Reserve of the Gola del Furlo (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36. Transfer by cars to the starting point of the walk. The total distance to walk going and back is about 7 km. Lenght about 6 hours. Sack dinner.

Saturday 8 August: San Lorenzo night at Furlo to observe the stars with an astrophile. The night walk to Monte Paganuccio to observe the stars, with vegetarian dinner and possibility to sleep in the refuge Ca’ I Fabbri is organized by Il Ponticello. The explanation of the sky is made by an astrophile. Price for the excursion and the dinner without sleeping in the refuge: 30 euros. Price including sleeping in the refuge: 45 euros. Meeting point in Fano at 18.00 and in Fossombrone at 18.45. Distance to cover going and back: 6 km total. Lenght of the excursion: about 3 hours. Elevation difference: 250 m. Sunday 2 August 2015: Archaeological walk, fables for adults and children, jazz concert
A new opportunity to visit the Roman tunnels along the consular road via Flaminia is offered in the morning. The guided walk starts at 9.30 from the dyke Enel near the village of Furlo to discover the archaeological treasures situated in the territory of the Reserve. It will be possible to admire long stretches of containing walls and mainly the two tunnels bored by the Romans. Then the excursion will take the visitors to the Grotta del Grano, the place where a castle was built by the Goths. Lenght of the excursion: about 2 hours. Distance: about 4 km.
In the afternoon a reading workshop of timeless fables and a creative workshop are dedicated to adults and children. Un Furlo di fiabe.. per tutte le età is the title of the event. At 21.15 in the park of the Golena del Furlo the overwhelming mexican jazz band The Troker in concert completes the program. Free entrance.

Sunday 19 July 2015: Sins of gluttony.. The Furlo sweet like honey and guided walk
The event is dedicated to the magic world of bees and honey.
The meeting point is at 9.30 at the tourist office of the Natural Reserve of the Gola del Furlo (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna– via Flaminia n.36 to reach by car one of the beehives held by Maggie Damiani in the territory of the Natural Reserve. Mauro, a skilful apiarist, will show the activity of his bees in their hives and the making of honey. In the workroom it will be possible to see the process of and then taste the different kinds of honey. The excursion ends at 12.30.
In the afternoon at 15.30 and 17.30 an easy and flat 1+1/2 hours guided walk starts from the tourist office (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna– via Flaminia n.36 to visit the Gola del Furlo.

Sunday 12 July 2015: Trekking or transfer to the golden eagle's observatory
Other two opportunities to visit the natural reserve of Gola del Furlo and to see the golden eagles’ eyrie.
At 8.30 a free walk to the panoramic terrace (altitude 690 mt.) in Monte Pietralata starts from the little village of Pagino to watch the golden eagles’ eyrie in Monte Paganuccio. Elevation difference: 370 mt. Lenght: 4 hours. The excursion will reach the refuge in Monte Pietralata and then come down again to Pagino.
A free transfer service (8 seats) to the observatory in Monte Pietralata starts at 9.00 – 10.00 – 11.00 – 12.00 – 15.00 – 16.00 – 17.00 from the tourist office of the Natural Reserve of the Gola del Furlo (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36. From the observatory in Monte Pietralata, on the other side of the Candigliano river, another free opportunity to watch the golden eagle’s eyrie built on the crag in Monte Paganuccio, hoping to see by the spotting scope the adult couple and the eaglet born last May.

Gimkana family is a 3 stages competition for all the family based on creativity, amusement and outdoor games: teams must be composed by children, parents and grand parents. Stages are easy and accessible to everybody, strollers included. Start at 10.00.
Un Furlo di fiabe.. per tutte le età is an event made of fables, tales, fancy and creativity open to children and adults. The program includes the reading of timeless stories and legends and then creative workshops where it will be possible to report and draw experiences and emotions. Starts at 15.30 and 17.30.

Sunday 21 June 2015: The golden eagle's day. Trekking or transfer to the observatory.
From the observatory in Monte Pietralata, on the other side of the Candigliano river, another free opportunity to see the golden eagle’s eyrie built on the crag in Monte Paganuccio where an eaglet was born last May. A special event to visit the natural reserve and to learn about the golden eagle, hoping to see by the spotting scope the adult couple feeding the eaglet.
There will be two ways to get to the observatory in the panoramic balcony in Monte Pietralata, where a spotting scope is pointed to the eyrie and where an expert will be waiting for visitors.
Trekking. The walk following path number 449 starts at 9.00 from the parking area near the dyke. The itinerary is accessible to children from 10 years old used to cover mountain paths.
Transfer. The bus (8 seats) to the observatory starts at 9.00 – 10,00 – 11,00 – 12.00 – 15.00 – 16.00 – 17.00 from the tourist office of the Natural Reserve of the Gola del Furlo (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna– via Flaminia n.36.

Sunday 14 June 2015: From the balcony to the top of Monte Pietralata
A panoramic walk with stunning view over the Adriatic, the Apennines and the canyon of the Gola del Furlo. Acccompanied by a guide, the ring itinerary across footpaths and pastures on the top of Monte Pietralata starts and ends at the Rifugio del Furlo, in the territory of the Natural reserve of the Gola del Furlo.
