Guided visit to the abbey of San Vincenzo al Furlo and to the nearby Roman viaduct in the archaeological site along the consular via Flaminia (III century b. C.).
Founded in the area of the Roman town of Pitinum Mergens, it is assumed that from the VI to the XVII century in the abbey the relics of San Vincenzo, bishop of Bevagna (Umbria), were kept after the destruction of the town of Bevagna by the Longobards.

Visits at 10.30 and 15.30. Easy walk (around 1 and ½ hours)

Another occasion to observe the golden eagle’s eyrie in the Natural Reserve of the Gola del Furlo. A shuttle bus (8 seats) will bring visitors to the observatory where a spotting scope is positioned. A guide will tell about the eagle’s characteristicts.
The shuttle starts on Monday 2 June from Furlo tourist office (Punto IAT Riserva Naturale Statale Gola del Furlo – Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia) at 9.15; 10.30; 11.45; 14.45; 16.00; 17.15.

Guided tour to learn about our animal symbol: the golden eagle through the observation of its nest. It provides a pick-up service of the visitors with shuttle bus at the observatory on Mount Pietralata eagle from which an expert will show visitors chosen by the eagle’s nest.
