Profit by the sunny weekend to enjoy the Reserve. Visit the Lorenzo Mannozzi Torini nature museum. Take a free audioguide for a hike to one of the Reserve’s most scenic destinations.

Visits to Lorenzo Mannozzi Torini nature museum. The museum hosts a large collection of stuffed animals, rocks and fossils. An interactive software leads visitors millions of years back in an enjoyable journey to discover Gola del Furlo’s geological and anthropological history. An observation system has been created to show from the museum the golden eagles’ eyries built on the crags in Monte Paganuccio. The museum is in the Nature Reserve visitor centre, in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36. Hikes in the Nature Reserve with the free audioguides. The Nature Reserve Visitor Centre provides free audioguides in English to discover nature and history in the Reserve. Maps and guides detailing routes and day hikes are provided too. Hikes in the Reserve are free and vary from flat short strolls in the area of the roman tunnels and of the romanesque abbey to harder walks to the mountain summits from where it is possible to enjoy grandiose sights over the Apennines. The Gola del Furlo Nature Reserve Visitor Centre is in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna – via Flaminia n.36.
