Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2015: Guided visits, excursion with the meteorologist
Saturday 7 November: Guided walk. Three opportunities are offered during the week-end to visit the Reserve by Tra le meraviglie della Gola, the free guided walk to discover history and nature. The first appointment is on Saturday at 15.00 at the Enel dam of Gola del Furlo. The itinerary will take visitors to the two tunnels bored by the Romans along the consular via Flaminia. A guide will explain the sorts of plants and flowers and talk about the wild animals and birds of prey, such as the golden eagle, which can be observed in the Natural Reserve of Gola del Furlo. Duration of the walk is about 2 hours. The route of the excursion is flat and accessible to everybody
Sunday 8 November: Guided walks, excursion to Monte Pietralata with the meteorologist. The other two opportunities to visit the Reserve by Tra le meraviglie della Gola are on Sunday: the guided walks start at 11.00 and at 15.00 from the Enel dam of Gola del Furlo. Leave the motorway Acqualagna-Fano at Calmazzo and drive in direction of Villa Furlo.
Visitors interested in excursions along mountain trails can opt for Rosso di sera: al Furlo col meteorologo, a free guided walk with a meteorologist to panoramic spots on the Monte Pietralata massif to be taught about how to foresee what the weather will be like. Meet at 9.30 at the tourist office of the Natural Reserve of Gola del Furlo (punto IAT Furlo) in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36. Itinerary: church of Pietralata, peak of Monte Pietralata (889 mts.) and then back to the church of Pietralata. Drop: 400 mts. The distance to cover during the walk is about 8 kilometres. Wear: trekking boots, raincoat, layered clothes. Bring: sack-lunch, water. The activity ends at 16.30. The excursion is organized by Il Ponticello.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November: Visits to Lorenzo Mannozzi Torini territorial museum. Exciting itineraries are provided to discover the natural and anthropological identity of Gola del Furlo. The museum hosts a wide collection of embalmed animals, rocks and fossils. Interactive software leads visitors millions of years back in a fun journey to learn the geological and anthropological history of the Gola. The museum is in the Visiting Centre of the tourist office (punto IAT) of the Natural Reserve, in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36. Free entrance. Visiting times: from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 19.00.
