Sunday 13 September 2015: Archaeological walk
The guided archaeological walk starts at 9.30 from the Enel dam to discover the two tunnels bored by the Romans along the consular Via Flaminia and the other archaeological sites in the territory of the Natural Reserve. In fact the consular road Via Flaminia, built by the Romans in the III century B. C. to connect Rome to Rimini, passed through the Gola del Furlo. Then the excursion will take the visitors to the Grotta del Grano, the place where a castle was built by the Goths. Duration of the excursion: about 2 hours. Distance: about 4 km. Meeting point at the Enel dam. How to get there: leave the motorway Acqualagna-Fano at Calmazzo and drive in direction of Furlo.
